Gavin Sinclaire
Are you ready for the greatest show on earth? A man asked. He was wearing a red velvvet coat white gloves. He was the ring master the currator for the show. Gavin introduced the next act and the show continued. He had a special project in mind tonight was in fact special. Gavin had many mutants who worked for him. Many that were so grateful for a hoe to feel safe they would do literally anything for the man. There was Mimi, she could track mutations, specific ones if you asked for a specific power set. There was a girl out in Iowa could pull her fingers off and they turned into explosives she could gleafully, mercilessly toss around the room.. Gavin's mutatns had very specific purposes.
One mutant could drain the powers of away of anyone he looked at. Anothe rcould shape shift, and yet another still had the power to teleport and bring others with him. They all served their purpose. Gavin had heard of a powerful reality warper. He wanted them from the show and if Gavin wanted something he usually got it.
After the show he would go on his little trip. Gavin was after a little boy who could google anything inside his own head. How wonderfully delicious.. It would make for a good opening act to get the crowd riled up. When Gavin took someone. Suddenly their room would fill with circus music. The walls would open up as if there had been a room behind them all along. And smoke would spill into the room as creepy circus music filled the room, but only the person Gavin was targeting could hear it. Then before you knew it you were back at the circus. Gavin even had someone to wipe your memories of home and make you believe this had always been your home. His operation was tied up with a neat little bow.
He got who he was after and like usual he came back and handed a family photo of the kdi's parents to Voodoo. "These are bad people. They need to go away." Gavin said. The same as he always said. How many photos had he handed her? Dozens? He had lost track. He handed a picture of a smiling husband and wife to Voodoo. They were not bad people, Voodoo only had Gavin's word that they were bad.
Gavin stopped when he saw something on her face. "I love you Voodoo. You always have a home here at the circus, but if you were to be unahppy for any reason...Gavin's smile faltered. There was vague threat in his voice, but his smile came right back... "Well we'd just have to get you a big thing of cotton candy!" It was something he knew she could eat. He had once stuffed fluff throat the spaces in her sewed up lips. What joy she had when she tasted it for the first time. "Make them go away." He repeated and sat down beside her, studying her now.
As the ones carrying the kidnapped boy took him to have his memories altered. Gavin sat next too Voodoo and put an arm around her shoulder. "Tell me what's wrong sweetheart." He should avoid phrases like that. But he treated her no different than anyone he respected.. SHe was his special girl. "Tell me or i might die!" Gavin joked, feigning dying on the spot he fake grabbed at his chest and let his eyes roll into the back of his head in a comedic gesture. Then he grew serious. Gavin pulled her close and kissed the top of her head before holding her at arm's length and staring deep into her eyes. "You should get some rest." He said and walked away.

Ronnie Lewis"The Handsome Man"Ronnie was lurking in the shadows. He usually was very good at blending in. Ronnie could be anyone. Anyone at all. His unique genetic mutation allowed him to alter his features, from facial bone structure to skin pigment to gender. He was a shape shifter. Ronnie had never tried his hand at becoming animals, but he bet he could if he tried. All Ronnie had to do was think about who he wanted to be and he could become it. It worked with inanimate objects as well. He could grow or condense his size though doing such extensive remodeling was often painful, growing and shrinking bones was nasty business.
When Ronnie was unmasked so to speak, when he wasn't wearing the guise of another face his face was always baked in shadow. No one knew what Ronnie's actual face looked like. Not even Gavin Sinclair himself. Even if he were to have a flashlight shined directly into his face you would only see shadow. It was lonely. It was dehumanizing. The only time Ronnie actually existed was when he was pretending to be someone else. Most people overlooked Ronnie. As a cheap gimmick and nothing more. Though he had ideas man.
No one treated Ronnie as an equal. Gavin had used Ronnie's unique abilities to his advantage on more than one occasion. Ronnie did not mind. The circus was home. The circus was safe. He had no plans on being anywhere else and he didn't see himself as noble or good or whatever. He was just, Ronnie. "It's not so bad love." Ronnie said from the shadows before stepping into the light so Voodoo could see that he was there. Ronnie spoke with a British accent. "Not being heard I mean." He clarified. He walked over with his hands in the pockets of his jeans.
Ronnie was not wearing a shirt so that his various tattoos were visible. He supposed it was stupid to get tatoos, they disappeared when he shifted, but they always came when he reverted to his natural self, how he was now. The moonlight lit his skin, everything except for his face, it was shadowy and dark, though you could see his eyes were bright shiny silver. "I've seen you around the circus. You always seem as lonely as I am. Do you want some company?" He asked.
Ronnie had overheard the conversation with Gavin. He knew what was expected of her. Had known that Gavin had used Voodoo to kill for him in the past as well. He sympathized only because she didn't strike him as the violent type. She was cute, in a tim burton sort of way if you were into that. But that wasn't what he was after. Simple companionship maybe? Someone to talk to.... In a manner of speaking. "You shouldn't feel bad for them. The people you're about to kill. They are most assuredly bad apples. To the core. They die and you get to keep living here. It's a fair trade this place is safe for people like us." His words were quiet, sorrowful. He sat next to her. Really looked at her.
Ronnie supposed she would love to have his powers, though he wasn't sure if she even knew what his powers were. They had never really spoken to each other before this very moment. She still hasn't spoken too him as a matter of fact HA HA. He reached out and placed his hand on top of hers. Ronnie wasn't sure if she was going to pull it away or if she would allow it to linger. He just wanted to be heard for once. [/div]
